Universal Studios
Universal Studios Japan is the first theme park under the Universal Studios brand in Asia, having opened in 2001 in the Osaka Bay Area. Over the years, the park has expanded and is now one of Japan's most visited amusement parks. USJ features ten sections, including Hollywood, New York, San Francisco, Jurassic Park, and Super Nintendo World, offering a mix of family-friendly rides, thrilling roller coasters, and simulators based on beloved movies like Minions, Shrek, and Jurassic Park.
Beyond the rides, visitors can take photos with popular character mascots such as Snoopy, Hello Kitty, and the Muppets. The park also hosts daily shows, including a spectacular night parade with illuminated floats. Just outside the park, Universal Citywalk Osaka offers a vibrant shopping mall with hotels, restaurants, and shops featuring Universal Studios merchandise and Osaka souvenirs. Food enthusiasts should visit the Osaka Takoyaki Museum on the fourth floor, showcasing popular takoyaki vendors, making USJ a must-visit for locals and tourists alike.
