To reach Shinsekai, take the Osaka Metro to Dobutsuen-mae Station on the Midosuji or Sakaisuji lines. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to the area. Alternatively, you can use the JR Loop Line and alight at Shin-Imamiya Station, which is also within walking distance. Shinsekai's central landmark, Tsutenkaku Tower, makes it easy to spot and navigate the area.

Shinsekai
Shinsekai (新世界, lit. "New World"), is a vibrant district in Osaka with a nostalgic charm centered around the iconic Tsutenkaku Tower. Inspired by Paris and New York’s Coney Island, the area was developed after the 1903 National Industrial Exposition. Tsutenkaku Tower, originally built in 1912 and reconstructed in 1956, stands 103 meters tall with breathtaking views from its observatory. Visitors can also enjoy a thrilling slide at its base.
The district is famous for kushikatsu, Osaka’s deep-fried skewered specialty, served in lively 24-hour restaurants that light up beautifully at night. Another highlight is Spa World, a sprawling hot spring complex with European and Asian-themed pools, offering a relaxing escape in the heart of Shinsekai.
