Dinosaur Museum is a world-renowned center for dinosaur research and education, located in Katsuyama City, 25 kilometers east of Fukui City. Home to Japan's largest dinosaur excavation site, the museum features over 40 skeletons, including the Fukui-raptor and Fukui-saurus, and life-sized animatronic dinosaurs like a roaring Tyrannosaurus Rex at the entrance. Visitors can explore exhibits on dinosaur evolution, hands-on fossil activities, and Earth sciences, making it a thrilling journey into prehistoric times.

Spread across four floors, the museum includes interactive zones, a research lab, a movie theater, and a shop. Outside, more dinosaur models add to the experience. Whether you’re fascinated by fossils or life-sized dinos, the Fukui Dinosaur Museum offers an unforgettable adventure for all ages.
