The Togetsukyo Bridge (渡月橋), or "Moon Crossing Bridge," is the centerpiece of Arashiyama and a symbol of Kyoto's timeless charm. Originally built during the Heian Period and rebuilt in the 1930s, the bridge offers stunning views of the surrounding scenery, blending harmoniously with the forested mountains that form a picturesque backdrop.

Adjacent to the bridge, you'll find a tranquil riverside park lined with cherry trees, making it a favorite spot for hanami during spring. Whether you're strolling across the bridge or enjoying a peaceful moment by the river, Togetsukyo embodies the beauty and serenity of Arashiyama.
