The Hokkaido Museum is in Nopporo Forest Park, outside central Sapporo. From Sapporo Station, take a local train to Shinrin Koen Station (15 minutes, 340 yen). From there, take a 5-10 minute bus (240 yen) or walk 20-30 minutes. Get off at "Hokkaidō Hakubutsukan" for the museum.
