Ikebukuro Station is a major station on the JR Yamanote Line and is also served by the JR Saikyo, Shonan Shinjuku, Tobu Tojo, Seibu Ikebukuro lines, and the Marunouchi, Yurakucho, and Fukutoshin subway lines. From Tokyo Station, it’s 15 minutes (210 yen) by the Marunouchi Subway Line or 25 minutes (210 yen) by the JR Yamanote Line. From Shinjuku Station, it’s 8 minutes (170 yen) by the JR Yamanote, Saikyo, or Shonan-Shinjuku lines.
