Miki Museum

Miki Museum, located within the grounds of Himeji Castle, is an art museum dedicated to showcasing both paintings and ceramic works from renowned artists. Opened in 2008, the museum features a collection of around 800 ceramics and 200 paintings. Exhibitions are spread across multiple floors, with the third floor hosting rotating special exhibitions, while the fourth and fifth floors display a mix of large paintings and offer a peaceful parlor with a view of Himeji Castle.

The museum’s permanent exhibition features works by artists like Ryuichi Kakurezaki, Susumu Maki, Koichi Nabatame, and Seiji Togo. Visitors can relax in the exhibition rooms and enjoy a calm atmosphere, with the opportunity to explore the rooftop for a great view and photo opportunities.
