Sengokuhara Pampas Grass Field (仙石原すすき草原) is a stunning natural site located on the west slope of Mount Hakone in the Sengokuhara area. The grasses turn a shimmering, silvery gold in autumn, offering visitors a picturesque view.

The field is accessible via a wide walking path that leads to higher vantage points, offering expansive views of the area. While most visitors come in autumn, the field’s seasonal transformations—from bright green in summer to golden hues in autumn—make it a year-round attraction. In spring, the pampas is cleared through controlled burning to maintain its beauty.
