Senjogahara Marshland (戦場ヶ原, Senjōgahara) sits 1400 meters above sea level, offering breathtaking hiking opportunities in Nikko National Park. The marshland is especially stunning in autumn, with grasses turning reddish yellow and larch trees shining gold. The Senjogahara Plateau Nature Trail, stretching between Yumoto Onsen and Ryuzu Waterfall, offers scenic views and takes around 2.5 to 3 hours to complete.

In winter, snow covers the marshland, providing a new experience for snowshoeing or cross-country skiing. Rentals are available at the Sanbonmatsu parking lot.
