From JR Utsunomiya Station, take bus number 3 or 5 bound for Utsunomiya Zoo and get off at the Utsunomiya Zoo bus stop (about 20 minutes, 320 yen one way). From the bus stop, it's a short walk to the entrance.
Alternatively, a taxi from JR Utsunomiya Station takes around 15 minutes and costs approximately 1,500 yen.
