To reach Uminonakamichi Seaside Park, take the JR Kagoshima Line from Hakata Station to Kashii Station (10 minutes), then transfer to the JR Kashii Line to Uminonakamichi Station (20 minutes). The total journey takes about 40 minutes and costs 480 yen.
Alternatively, you can take a 20-minute ferry from Momochi Seaside Park for 1200 yen one way. Ferries depart every two hours, more frequently during busy seasons.
