It's easy to reach the Luffy Statue from the city center in about 30 minutes by public transport. Take bus number D6 to the Kumamoto Prefectural Government Office, or ride the tram to Shiritsutaikukanmae. From the tram stop, it's just a 10-minute walk. You'll find the statue right in front of the building, surrounded by beautiful ginkgo trees.

The Luffy (ルフィ像) Statue in Kumamoto stands proudly in front of the Prefectural Government Office, symbolizing hope and resilience. As the fearless leader of the Straw Hat Pirates, Monkey D. His statue was placed here as part of the One Piece Kumamoto Revival Project, honoring his leadership role in the region’s earthquake restoration efforts.

You can buy the limited-edition Monkey D. Luffy figure inside the Prefectural Hall for ¥2,200 (tax included). Each location sells only the figure of the character displayed there, so you can't buy all the figures in one place. To collect them all, you'll need to visit each location separately.
