By Ropeway
The ropeway takes 5 minutes to the top. You can reach the lower station in 5 minutes from Nagasaki Station by bus (160 yen), taxi, or a 15-minute walk from Takaramachi tram stop. In the evenings, there’s a free shuttle bus between hotels, Nagasaki Station, and the lower ropeway station.
By Car or Taxi
A 15-minute car ride from Nagasaki Station costs around 2000 yen by taxi. Parking is available at the summit, but the small lot closes in the evenings on busy days. A larger, free parking lot is 15-20 minutes down the hill, with a "Slope Car" (300 yen one way, 500 yen round-trip) running between the parking lot and the summit from 9:00 to 22:00.
By Bus
Nagasaki Bus runs 1-2 buses per hour between Nagasaki Station and Inasayama bus stop (15 minutes, 190 yen). From the bus stop, it’s a 15-20 minute walk uphill to the summit. You can also take the "Slope Car" (300 yen one way, 500 yen round-trip) from the bus stop to the summit.

Mount Inasayama
Mount Inasayama (稲佐山, Inasayama) is a 333-meter-high mountain located near Nagasaki’s city center. This popular spot offers breathtaking views of the city, with the night views being considered one of Japan’s top three, alongside Mount Hakodate and Mount Rokko.
You can reach the summit by ropeway, bus, or car, making it easily accessible for visitors. Once at the top, enjoy a panoramic view of Nagasaki’s skyline, including several television and radio antennas. There is also an observation deck with a restaurant where visitors can relax while taking in the spectacular scenery.
