Inasa Beach
Inasa Beach (稲佐の浜), located near Izumo Taisha, is a breathtaking coastal spot deeply rooted in Japanese mythology. This serene beach is best known for its stunning sunsets, where the golden hues reflect beautifully on the waves, creating a magical atmosphere. According to legend, this is where the gods first descended to Japan, making it a place of spiritual significance. The beach’s peaceful surroundings and gentle sea breeze make it an ideal location for relaxation and photography.
One of Inasa Beach’s most striking features is Bentenjima, a small rocky islet just off the shore, topped with a sacred shrine dedicated to Benzaiten, the goddess of water and fortune. The sight of this sacred rock against the backdrop of the setting sun is truly mesmerizing. Visitors often walk along the sandy shore, listen to the soothing sounds of the waves, and embrace the mystical charm of this historic site.
