Fuji Safari Park
Fuji Safari Park (富士サファリパーク) is a thrilling wildlife park on Mount Fuji’s southern slopes, where visitors can experience close encounters with freely roaming lions, tigers, bears, giraffes, and more. One of Japan’s largest and most popular safari parks, it offers multiple ways to explore—drive your own car, rent a safari-style 4WD, take a guided bus tour, or walk a scenic nature trail. Bus tours allow guests to feed lions and bears through caged windows, while rental vehicles provide a self-guided adventure.
For an up-close experience, a 2.5 km walking safari leads visitors through observation decks, allowing them to feed giraffes and camels. Beyond the safari zone, the park’s zoo area features red pandas, meerkats, and interactive enclosures with kangaroos and capybaras. Additional attractions include pony rides, petting areas, and a souvenir shop, making Fuji Safari Park a perfect wildlife adventure for all ages.
