From Hiroshima to Miyajima Island

  From Hiroshima, take the JR Sanyo Line (25 min, 420 yen, JR Pass valid) or tram line 2 (slower, 240 yen, not covered) to Miyajimaguchi, then walk to the pier where JR and Matsudai ferries (10 min, 200 yen, JR Pass valid only on JR) go to Miyajima.

• By ferry

• From Hiroshima, you can take a boat to Miyajima. Boats leave from Hiroshima Peace Park (45 minutes, 2,200 yen one way or 4,000 yen round trip) and from Hiroshima Port (30 minutes, 2,100 yen one way). These prices don’t include the visitor tax.
