The festival, which began in 1999, celebrates Utsunomiya's famous gyoza with over 20 local gyoza stalls offering a variety of dumplings such as pan-fried, deep-fried, and boiled. Each plate of three dumplings costs just 100 yen, giving visitors a chance to sample many delicious options. The event also features exciting activities, including a jazz concert, a talk show, and the opportunity to collect commemorative stamps.
