Getting there

You can reach Chikubu Island by ferry from three ports on Lake Biwa: Nagahama, Hikone, and Imazu. The easiest way is to take the ferry from Nagahama Port (a 5-minute walk from Nagahama Station).

Ferries from any of the three ports take between 25 and 40 minutes.
