Himeji Castle – Start the day at Japan’s most famous castle. Explore its impressive interiors and enjoy panoramic views from the top.
Kokoen Garden – Right next to the castle, this traditional Japanese garden is a peaceful spot to walk through.
Afternoon
Engyoji Temple – Take the ropeway up Mount Shosha to visit this historic temple, known for its serene atmosphere and as a filming location for The Last Samurai.
Evening
Himeji Station Area – Enjoy a local meal, such as Himeji’s famous anago meshi (grilled conger eel).
Return to Osaka/Kyoto/Kobe – Head back via the Shinkansen or local train.
