Dating back to the Asuka Era (592-710), it is said that En-No-Gyouja meditated beneath the falls. Minoh Park, one of Japan's oldest National Parks, is situated just 30 minutes north of Osaka city, easily accessible by train from Umeda. The park features lush greenery, 980 plant species, and 3000 insect species, including an insect museum.

The hike to Minoh Falls starts at Minoh Station, taking about 45 minutes along a scenic 3 km path. You’ll pass charming shops selling Momiji tempura, fried maple leaf sweets. The route also leads to the beautiful Ryuanji Temple. Minoh Falls is a breathtaking destination year-round, especially during autumn when the vibrant red maple leaves create a stunning backdrop.
