The Yokohama Night Illumination takes place at Yamashita Park. The park is just a 5-minute walk from Motomachi-Chukagai Station on the Minato Mirai Line. It's also a short walk from Chinatown (5 minutes) and the Red Brick Warehouse (8 minutes).

Visitors can enjoy a breathtaking display of lights, from the rows of illuminated trees along Yamashita Koen Street to the stunning Dynamic Aurora show, which features dazzling floodlights. The entire area is bathed in a magical glow, creating a mesmerizing winter atmosphere.
This enchanting event runs from the beginning of November until the end of February, with illuminations lighting up the night from 5 pm to 9:05 pm. On New Year’s Eve, the lights shine until 1 am, offering a radiant welcome to the new year. Admission is free, making it a must-see experience for both locals and tourists.
