Getting there

To get from Tokyo to Yokohama, you have several options:

Tokyu Toyoko Line:
25 minutes from Shibuya Station, 310 yen. Take a limited express or express train for the fastest route to Yokohama Station.

JR Tokaido Line:
25 minutes from Tokyo Station, 490 yen, or 20 minutes from Shinagawa Station, 310 yen.

JR Yokosuka Line:
30 minutes from Tokyo Station, 490 yen, or 20 minutes from Shinagawa Station, 310 yen. It's almost as fast as the Tokaido Line.

JR Shonan Shinjuku Line:
30 minutes from Shinjuku Station, 580 yen, or 20 minutes from Shibuya Station, 410 yen.

JR Keihin-Tohoku Line:
40 minutes from Tokyo Station, 490 yen, or 30 minutes from Shinagawa Station, 310 yen. This is a slower, local train.

Keikyu Main Line:
20 minutes from Shinagawa Station, 320 yen. The limited express is the fastest.

JR Tokaido Shinkansen:
15 minutes from Tokyo Station to Shin-Yokohama. From there, it's a short 10-15 minute ride to Yokohama Station.
