Yonama Beach

Yonama Beach (ヨナマビーチ), part of Yonama Seaside Park, is a beautiful 300-meter stretch of sand located about a 15-minute drive north from Tokunoshima Airport. This beach offers a peaceful escape, where visitors can enjoy swimming and snorkeling. While the marine life around the beach is not particularly exciting, the clear waters provide a relaxing atmosphere for water activities.

In peak season, Yonama Beach transforms into a lively spot with a swimming pool and water slide available for fun. The beach also serves as the starting point for the annual Tokunoshima Triathlon, held around late June. With its scenic beauty and events, Yonama Beach is a great destination for both relaxation and sport enthusiasts.
