Getting to and around

Buses run from Karatsu Bus Center to Yobuko about 1-2 times per hour (30 minutes, 760 yen one way). Yobuko is home to the morning market and the departure point for Nanatsugama cruises.

From Yobuko, you can take a bus to the Nagoya Castle Ruins (10 minutes, 200 yen one way, one bus every 1-2 hours). Some buses go directly from Karatsu Bus Center to the ruins, but they are rare. All buses between Karatsu and the peninsula also stop at Nishi-Karatsu Station.

For more flexibility, consider renting a car. Rental outlets are available around Karatsu Station and in central Karatsu.
