The route provides easy access to explore the serene coastal landscapes of Obama Bay and Uchitomi Peninsula on the opposite bank, creating a perfect getaway.

The region is renowned for the Oshima Peninsula Niso-no-Mori ritual, a traditional practice unique to this area and designated an Intangible Folk Cultural Property in Japan.
