Getting around

In Kotohira, the JR Kotohira Station and Kotoden Kotohira Station are close together in the town center. You can easily walk to all the main sights from there.

The steps to Kompirasan Shrine start about 10 minutes southwest of the stations. Along the way, you’ll also pass Kanamaruza Theater, just 200 meters from the shrine path.
