Getting there

It takes about 30-45 minutes to hike up to the Onigashima Cave. Alternatively, you can take a bus from the ferry terminal to the cave in about 10 minutes. The bus costs 500 yen one way or 800 yen for a round trip. Buses run when the ferries arrive, but they don’t operate every day during the off-season.
