Fujita Garden

5 of 10 in Hirosaki

Fujita Memorial Japanese Garden (藤田記念庭園, Fujita Kinen Teien), established in 1919, is a beautifully designed traditional landscape garden, divided into an upper and lower section. Created by local businessman Fujita Kenichi, it offers a tranquil escape with scenic views. The upper section features a traditional Japanese house, while the lower section is home to a tea ceremony house, both offering splendid views of the surrounding garden.

At the garden's entrance, you’ll find a small archaeology museum and a charming Western-style house from the Taisho era, complete with a tearoom. This blend of traditional Japanese and Western influences makes the Fujita Memorial Japanese Garden a unique cultural destination.
