You can reach Yumoto Onsen from central Nikko by taking Tobu buses. Buses run 1-2 times per hour from Tobu Nikko Station (also serving JR Nikko Station) to Yumoto Onsen. The ride takes about 80 minutes and costs 1950 yen, covered by the Nikko All Area Pass. A 2-day bus pass for unlimited travel between Nikko and Yumoto Onsen is available for 3500 yen at Tobu Nikko Station.
During the autumn leaf season in October, expect heavy traffic and possible delays, especially on weekends. If you can, try visiting on weekdays to avoid the crowds.





Yumoto Onsen Travel Tips
